What is Google Tag Manager for?

With Google Tag Manager,  you will unify all the code fragments  of the measurement tools inserted into your website in a single container. Additionally, it will make it possible for you to edit all the content within its container, allowing you to update the content easily and without having to write more code on your page.

Google Tag Manager will also allow you to track the conversions you achieve through the Google Ads platform, and will also allow you to make various basic configurations to your campaign.

Unifying all the tracking and analysis tags of your website within its container will minimize its space and allow your page code to be more organized and clean.

To start using the Google Tag Manager tool you can follow these steps:

  • Access the Google Tag Manager page and create your account.

  • Create your first container  by giving it a name to identify it and select its type. If you are going to use the container on a web page, you will have to select the web type .

  • After completing the container setup, you will get your tracking code. You will have to  insert it into  all the pages of your website or in the header if you use a CMS.
